Audio-reactive 2D feedback effect. More info to follow.
yeah, seems promising 🙂
It’s a cheesy old screensaver effect, but it’s still quite cool.
I’m hoping to be able to do something a bit more creative with it later on.
how do you made it???
im looking everyday a few times…….please some info……….please
I’ve not had much time to update the blog lately, sadly.
This effect was done with a Kineme QC patch that’s currently in beta-testing. What it basically does is created a structure of 512 values representing the audio-input level through time- so basicaly an audio waveform. Using an Iterator, a Line patch and some very simple maths, I’ve created a radial waveform viewer, with the length of each line representing part of the waveform. I’ve then added a feedback effect to make it more interesting.
Hope this makes things a bit clearer.
If you’re interested, and haven’t already done so, you should sign up for a Kineme.net account. If you check the option that allows you to see beta versions, you’ll be able to download this plugin, as well as all the other cool QC extensions they have there.
cool thanks for the reply.
