    I think this has a pretty cool look to it…

    What are your thoughts on taking things like this, putting it inside of a render in image, and adding a little gaussian blur? That is something I have been playing with, and have found to be an interesting way of achieving and anti-aliasing effect on cube edges.

    Yeah, I make that typo all the time…

    Re. the RII antialiasing thing- I use that technique all the time, actually. It’s called ‘supersampling’, and it works fairly well without the blur, in fact. I try to avoid blurs if at all possible, since they suck framerates like nothing else. Having said that, vade’s blur is pretty efficient. One thing you have to watch out for is that some GPUs have a low limit on max texture dimensions, so you have to make sure your rendered image doesn’t exceed that size. I did a little macro to check the GPUs max texture size, and enable/disable supersampling as necessary.
